For over ten years, North Carolina- based artist Ginger S. Huebner has been using the mediums of collage and chalk pastel to transform life moments into works of fine art.  Huebner’s work is singular as her approach is determined by individual clients and their life journeys.  For Huebner, life is full of stories and each fragment of life is an opportunity to capture artistically what often transcends expression in mere words.  Her work embodies people’s hearts, their dreams, their passions in life, and the moments and individuals that define and refine them.

Huebner was first drawn to translate emotions and events into visual artwork while studying architecture at Virginia Tech. A successful student, she was frustrated by the confines of her architecture studies and found that she could not be satisfied with merely executing successful architectural drawings. For Huebner, each project was more than a physical building or design; it was full of emotion, of purpose, of meaning that far exceeded the requirements and parameters of a typical architecture assignment. Unable to suppress her creative voice, Huebner began to look for ways to express herself and to capture the reality that our lives and work are comprised of defining moments that end too quickly and fade too rapidly. Through her art, Huebner sought to capture these moments and stories, to give them expression, to learn, to appreciate, and to grow from them.
